Dubai: In the first half of 2025, Dubai Municipality recorded significant progress in regulating and monitoring construction activities, completing over 25,000 field inspections — a 36% rise compared to the same period last year.

The inspections spanned upwards of 18,800 construction sites, accounting for more than 36 million square metres of built-up area. This marks an 11% year-on-year increase and points to the ongoing expansion of projects throughout the emirate.

These milestones emphasize Dubai Municipality’s commitment to a rigorous regulatory system that upholds safety, quality, and sustainability in every aspect of construction.

The strategy aligns with Dubai’s ambition to lead as the world’s smartest and most sustainable city in construction, while reinforcing its position as an investment-friendly hub distinguished by world-class infrastructure and efficient regulations.
